- Leon Walls
Leon Walls, PhD, is an assistant professor of elementary science education in the College of Education and Social Services at the University of Vermont. For the past four years he has taught inquiry-based science methods to preservice teachers at the undergraduate level. He is lead author of the book chapter Race, culture, gender, and nature of science in elementary settings in the Cultural Studies of Science Education series and author of the research study Third grade African American students’ views of the nature of science published in the Journal of Research in Science Teaching.
