On Monday, November 16 at 6:00 pm, join WTTW for a preview of CHICAGO FROM THE AIR – a new special filmed entirely from above that explores Chicago and its history from a new and breathtaking perspective.
Narrator and writer Geoffrey Baer and producer/director Eddie Griffin will take you behind the scenes, talk about the “making of” this innovative production, and give you a sweeping bird’s-eye tour of the city and beyond. Through the lens of a high-flying drone camera, we’ll zoom in to trace the remnants of long-lost roads and landmarks and learn what has replaced them, discover the ways industry literally reshaped our region, and marvel at how Chicago truly lives up to its motto – urbs in horto or “city in a garden.”
CHICAGO FROM THE AIR premieres on Thursday, November 19 at 7:30 pm on all WTTW platforms, and visit the companion website at wttw.com/air.
