KEET-TV presents a preview screening of THE AGE Of NATURE along with a panel discussion.
THE AGE OF NATURE is a three-part PBS documentary series that explores how an increased awareness of the natural world is leading to a new chapter in the story of both humanity and the planet. Filmed on seven continents, THE AGE OF NATURE presents creative ideas from around the globe for dealing with such pressing issues as climate change, animal extinction and environmental degradation.
The series focuses on the resiliency of Earth through stories of success, as scientists, citizens and more attempt to fix the past mistakes and restore the environment.

Patrick Higgins is the Managing Director of the Eel River Recovery Project and has a 30-year history as a successful fishery and watershed consultant. Pat manages the ERRP team and also conducts Tenmile Creek basin-wide monitoring of fish and water temperatures in coordination with local volunteers and landowners.
- Lucy Andrews
Panelist
Lucy is a PhD candidate in environmental science, policy, and management at UC Berkeley. Lucy studies ways to manage California's rivers and streams in the face of changing climate in order to protect aquatic ecosystems and maintain the economies and ways of life that rely on rivers and water. In her work, she aims to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to build coalitions and center environmental justice. Lucy has a degree in geology from Macalester College and previously worked on drinking water efficiency projects across California.
