Producer/Director Melissa Haizlip tells MoviesandShakers why she produced a documentary on her uncle, Ellis Haizlip, host of the first Black "Tonight Show" 1958-1963. TV premiere of James Baldwin, Angela Davis, Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Rahsaan Rolland Kirk, Stevie Wonder, and many more. .

    Alexandria Mack is a multimedia producer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Currently, she serves as co-producer for Milwaukee PBS’ long-running public affairs program “Black Nouveau” which tells stories of triumph and transformation in Milwaukee's African-American community. Alexandria is also a 2020 Gwen Ifill Mentorship Program fellow through the International Women's Media Foundation.
