Welcome to our virtual edition of Friday Freeview. On the third Friday of each month, Maryland Public Television hosts a free screening of a program before it airs. This month we will be showing a portion of the new American Experience series, The Vote.
The Vote delves deeply into the animating controversies that divided the nation in the early 20th century –– gender, race, state’s rights, and political power –– and offers an absorbing lesson in the delicate, often fractious dynamics of social change.
