Join us for a preview screening of Shipwrecks!, PBS Wisconsin’s newest documentary exploring the rich history of Wisconsin’s maritime legacy.

Shipwrecks! tells a tale of exploration, and takes viewers below the surface to an underwater museum of marvel. Archival film, images, and interviews with maritime historians, divers, and Great Lakes shipwreck hunters tell the stories of Wisconsin shipwrecks, the mariners that worked on them, the industries and communities they served, and the dangers of the unforgiving lakes.

The virtual screening event will preview part of the documentary, feature a moderated audience Q&A session with the program’s producer, and showcase additional resources, including a shipwrecks themed educational video game and interactive and virtual reality experiences.

The virtual film screening preview event will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16.
