We accomplish this by utilizing resources received through cooperative partnerships with private, corporate, community, faith- based, and government agencies. To that end, we endeavor to inspire vision, create opportunity, and cultivate purpose to transform young peoples lives. As Central NYS continues to deal with unprecedented economic woes, high incidence of gang violence, and record low high school graduation rates, the importance for creating skilled well-balanced urban professionals has never been greater. Mercy Works has garnered a reputation for instilling a sense of community in promising area youth who continue to flee the region for more prosperous communities. Our efforts to build relationship with the community, instill a sense of vision in our youth and take time to mentor to their emotional, relational and academic needs is what is establishing a foundation of success. Results include: 165 students graduated from our program in 2016, 169 graduated in 2017 and 215 in 2018. Upon graduation of our fall term 2019, 215+ students are expected to have registered and successfully graduate from our programs. Graduation rates among the students that participate in our program is approximately 90 percent. Our students walk through our doors and leave with a vision for their future, a sense of their value, and skills that ensure their academic, social and vocational success! https://ovee.itvs.org/screenings/9maonWCNY Robert J.
