Welcome to MPT's Friday Freeview screening!
Welcome to OVEE
In the world's wealthiest country, access to healthy food should be standard. Yet, lack of access to food with nutritional value is endemic to many of the nation's urban areas. In Baltimore City, many neighborhoods offer little in the way of healthy choices for residents. This film attempts to raise awareness through the stories of people, such as Anthony Francis, trying to make a difference and reclaim their right to healthy food.
This eight-minute music video is a companion mini-documentary, further exploring issues addressed in the film "Deserted" and providing another perspective on the food desert situation in Baltimore City. Anthony Francis is one of the musicians featured in the video.
