A special guest appearance by filmmaker Rory Kennedy kicks off a 50-minute preview of the PBS film. Chat with a live panel of veterans and Vietnamese Americans from the film that escaped hours before the fall of Saigon 40 years ago this April.

Binh Pho was a college student in South Vietnam during the war. Following the war, he spent a year in a re-education camp, but escaped by boat to Malaysia in 1978. He now lives in the U.S.

Hugh Doyle was the chief engineer on the U.S.S. Kirk. Commander US Navy (Retired)
- Gregg Barrios
Gregg Barrios is a playwright, poet and journalist from San Antonio who served as an Air Force combat medic during the Vietnam War.
- Nicholas Lepham
Nicholas Lepham is the co-founder and current President of the National Organization for Vietnamese American Leadership (NOVAL-DC), a nonprofit that promotes the professional development of Vietnamese American youth and preserves Vietnamese heritage and culture.
- Fred Shinbur
Fred Shinbur has 40 years of service to the U.S. military. He began his service as an infantryman in Vietnam from 1968-69. He currently serves as a member of the Maryland Veterans Commission.
